Behavior  Safe Schools  Disciplined classrooms

My campaign is based on concepts as easy as the A B Cs. 

     A classroom that is continually disrupted is not an environment conducive to learning.  I know.  I have been the teacher in a classroom that had not just one or two disruptive students, but a majority of students that were used to having their way in the classroom.

     Teachers cannot be expected to educate their students when they are not provided with the mechanisms and support to maintain decorum in the classroom.  This starts with a school-wide expectation of respect for individuals and decent behavior.  The school principal sets the tone that creates the environment in the school.  Teachers must be supported by the administration when they intelligently hold students to these expectations.  The administration must be supported by the Board members when the schools have acted correctly.  Parents must support the classroom teacher when that teacher has acted correctly.
